Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to issue notices to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and his family members seeking land records as part of an ongoing probe into a 45-acre discrepancy in Survey No. 325 at Erravalli village in Siddipet district.
The direction came during a review meeting chaired by Revanth Reddy at the MCRHRD Institute on Tuesday night, where officials briefed him on the status of the survey ordered after the issue was raised during the Assembly session on September 16.

According to officials, government records show 388 acres under Survey No. 325 in Erravalli village. However, the recent survey could account for only 343 acres, leaving a discrepancy of 45 acres.
Taking serious note of the issue, the Chief Minister directed officials to issue a notification for a fresh survey covering Erravalli and neighbouring Venkatapuram villages to establish the whereabouts and ownership status of the missing 45 acres.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that KCR and his family members own land near Survey No. 325. Revanth Reddy consequently instructed authorities to issue notices seeking the relevant land records from the former Chief Minister and his family.
The review meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, CMO Principal Secretary Seshadri and members of the committees appointed to investigate land-related irregularities and issues linked to the erstwhile Dharani portal.
LAND FOR FARMERS, TELANGANA MARTYRS’ COLONY
The Chief Minister directed officials to distribute the government land identified in Survey No. 325 among eligible local farmers.
He also ordered the establishment of a ‘Telangana Martyrs’ Colony’ for families of those who sacrificed their lives during the Telangana movement. Housing plots would be allotted to eligible martyrs’ families and the colony would be developed with all necessary infrastructure.
The Housing Department has been tasked with executing the project, with the Chief Minister directing officials to complete it by June 2.
EDUCATION HUB AT VELIKATTA
Revanth Reddy also proposed setting up a Young India Integrated School and an education hub at Velikatta village in Kondapaka mandal.
Officials were asked to identify suitable government land for the project while excluding assigned lands and land earmarked for the Mission Bhagiratha programme.
The Chief Minister further directed officials to closely monitor the utilisation of water from reservoirs and tanks in view of El Nio conditions. He also ordered officials to identify those drawing water from Mallanna Sagar without authorisation and take stringent action against them.
The government is also examining possible irregularities linked to land records and the erstwhile Dharani system.
