Tori Spelling has alleged that her experience on 2003 movie Evil Alien Conquerors was so bad that she actually wanted to be fired.

The actress signed up for the comedy movie off the back of her appearances in The House of Yes and Scary Movie 2, and had hoped it would be her big break.

However, on an interview on Stephen Baldwin’s One Bad Movie podcast, Tori said she was a “puddle” every day she arrived to filming because of how director Chris Matherson allegedly treated her.

She told Stephen: “I came into this from Beverley Hills 90210 and having my forever persona being Aaron Spelling’s daughter, being like, ‘Oh, this is going to be great for me’.

“[But] from the moment I stepped on set, it was like I couldn’t say one word without the director being like, ‘Tori, can you do that again?’ Everything was just, a little bit less, and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’”

While Tori said she’d always taken notes during dramatic scenes on set in shows such as 90210, she insisted: “But comedy, no one ever gave me a note. It was always, ‘Oh my God, that’s great, go for it.’”

However, Tori claimed that Matheson didn’t care whether she had a short or long scene, and would always give her notes.

She continued: “It could be a scene with me and one other actor or a scene with like 20 of us… By the end I knew he’d go through the first take, and then he’d be like ‘Cut!’ And I’m like, ‘Wait for it,’ and he’d be like, ‘Tori…’

“Every time! He would say it out loud across all the other actors and everyone in the room and I’d be shuddering.”

Tori claimed that it “got to the point where every line I delivered was just thrown away”, and alleged that Matheson “hated” her – so much so that she wanted him to fire her.

She concluded: “I was like, ‘Just fire me and recast. This is so hard on me.’ I went to set every day just like a puddle.”

Tori’s claims come as fans noted that she is uncredited in Evil Alien Conquerors, despite having a prominent role in the film.

Matheson, who is most famous for co-creating the Bill and Ted franchise and writing all three movies, only directed one more movie after Evil Alien Conquerors – the sequel Evil Alien Conquerors – Monkeys in 2007.

He has yet to respond to Tori’s allegations.
