Two teenagers have been arrested hours after a teenage boy died from suspected stab wounds in Melbourne’s north.
The 15-year-old Mickleham boy was found with serious injuries outside Craigieburn Community Hospital on Lygon Drive, Craigieburn about 7.50pm on Wednesday.
A staff member at the hospital performed CPR on the teen, but the victim died at the scene.
In an update, police said they arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man in Pascoe Vale about 5.30am on Thursday.
“They will be interviewed by Homicide Squad detectives. The investigation is continuing,” police said in an updated statement.
A crime scene remains in place outside the hospital, and Homicide Squad detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
