Two cars have been impounded and their drivers are set to face court next month after allegedly being caught speeding almost 100km/h over the limit in Burswood.
A police speed camera allegedly snapped the 21-year-old woman and 24-year-old man speeding on Great Eastern Highway, near Bolten Avenue, about 8.50pm on Monday, June 15.
The woman’s Ford Mustang was allegedly caught speeding at 154km/h, while the man’s BMW 3 Series was allegedly driving 140km/h.
The speed limit on that stretch of road is 60km/h.

Peter Charles Swift, 68, was arrested on Tuesday after police conducted a search of his multi-million dollar Dalkeith property.
Swift was the head of the nuclear medicine department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and formerly a consultant nuclear physician at Princess Margaret Hospital.
