A woman is fighting for life after she was trapped in a vehicle following a three-car collision in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services freed a female driver, aged in her 30s, from a Mazda that was involved in a head-on collision along Richmond Rd at Berkshire Park just before 12pm.
She was treated for limb and head injuries at the scene before transported by ambulance to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
A NSW Police spokesman said a Mazda sedan, Ford Ranger ute and Kia Sportage were involved in the collision.
The male driver of the Ford Ranger ute, believed to be aged in his 30s, was not injured in the collision.
Another female driver of a Kia Sportage was also uninjured in the crash

Police are investigating what caused the crash and closed Richmond Rd in both directions.
The Transport Management Centre advised all lanes of Richmond Road have since been reopened to traffic.
