An Amazon Prime Air cargo flight overran a runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, forcing authorities to close all runways and taxiways and impose a ground stop, airport officials said.
Prime Air Flight 7598 overran the airport’s diagonal runway at around 2 p.m. ET (1800 GMT) and came to a stop at the airport’s northwest end, officials said. The aircraft was disabled following the incident.

All runways and taxiways at the airport were closed as of 3 p.m. ET (1900 GMT), disrupting flight operations at the busy airport.
Information about possible injuries or fatalities was not immediately available.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it will investigate the incident.
