A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) conductor from Shadnagar has earned appreciation for her honesty after returning Rs 3 lakh in cash that a passenger had accidentally left on a bus.
Shadnagar-based businessman Jahangir was travelling to Hyderabad with his wife on Saturday as he prepared to leave for the Hajj pilgrimage. After getting down at Afzalgunj, he headed towards Nampally, only to realise that the bag containing Rs 3 lakh was still on the bus.

By then, conductor Saritha had noticed the unattended bag inside the vehicle. She immediately alerted the driver, Narasimhulu, and the two employees secured the bag and cash.
Realising his mistake, Jahangir reportedly rushed back to the bus stand in a private vehicle. Saritha and Narasimhulu verified his claim before handing over the entire Rs 3 lakh to him.
The timely action by the two TGSRTC employees has drawn appreciation, with their honesty and sense of responsibility earning praise.
