The judge stated in an order that it is satisfied that there are enough grounds to offer the demand for trial for five days.

On June 1, the accused will both be detained before the judge.

On Wednesday, the company detained both defendants for their alleged links to the NEET exam’s drip and dissemination.

V K Pathak, the specific public prosecutor, testified before the court that Shirure had been an “active murderer” in the organized crime involving the leak of the exam and that he had been responsible for getting and disseminating the test’s classified material.

He claimed that Shah had received the information and questions from co-accused Manisha Havaldar before the exam and eventually forwarded them to the father of another accused.

He claimed that the accused did not cooperate during the investigation and did not reveal how many Physics questions and notes were used for the NEET ( UG) 2026 Exam.

The organization claimed that in order to obtain police custody, both accused were required to answer questions of other accused, recover online evidence, track monetary transactions, and find the larger network responsible for the paper leak.

The prosecutor noted that important documentation had been provided, the basis of imprisonment had been communicated to the accused and their families, and relevant documentation had been provided.

The allegations, according to the jury, demonstrated that the accused were a part of a larger syndicate that was leaked the examination papers before the test’s scheduled start time.

The judge stated that it is clear that the investigation is still in its infancy and that there are sufficient grounds to keep police in custody.

The investigating official was given the order to conduct clinical investigations of both accused every 24 hours, as well as to ensure their safety and proper diet while in prison.

Shirure’s request to have legal counsel accessed during investigation was even granted by the court.

It authorized the CBI to allow one of his attorneys to meet with his attorney every day between 5:30 and 6:00 pm, allowing him to remain current at a noticeable but audible distance during interrogation.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test ( Undergraduate ), or NEET, held on May 3 for medical admissions was cancelled on May 12 by the National Testing Agency (NTA ) due to allegations of paper leak. On June 21, a second examination is scheduled.
