A moment after Ghaziabad president Sunita Dayal boldly claimed she” caught” two Muslim children attempting to throw the remains of cow meat into a nearby river, three Muslim men were detained.
In a video shared on her personal Facebook page, the mayor said,” Isi desh ka khayenge aur yahin gandagi karenge ( they live off this country, but they also dirty it ). Importantly, the video’s failure to obscure the children’s faces violates the Juvenile Justice Act.
Dayal confirmed to The Wire that she saw the kids while touring the Indirapuram Hindon Barrage. When I first saw those children and two other people in their vehicle, I remember. Next, we assumed that the minors were carrying gun-sized flesh in a bag. She added that kids later admitted it to be baby’s meat.
Dayal was heard scolding the kids, despite the video’s lack of evidence of her assertions. ” Dimag patthar bana diya hai inka ( their brains have been turned into stones )” is madarasse par na maine tala lagwaya toh baat nahi ( just see how I will make sure this madrassa is sealed forever )
According to the president’s claims, the Uttar Pradesh authorities detained three men who were connected to a nearby gurdwara on May 25. According to The Wire, the police detained Aijaz, Shoaib, and Zubair in violation of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita ( BNS ) Sections 271, 272, and 279.
Section 271 contains careless deeds that could lead to lethal attacks and result in prison sentences of up to six months. With a greater sentence of up to two years in prison, Section 272 covers harmful acts that pose the threat of spreading lethal infections. With a maximum sentence of six months ‘ prison, Part 279 talks with the contamination of open water systems.
The three men were detained after being accused of” causing pollutants” by throwing meat into a river and an open area. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Srivastava,” Three people associated with a local madrassa had instructed these children to dispose of the remains,”” [a ] initial action was taken. He continued,” No action was taken against the adolescents.”
