Hyderabad: On May 31, the Ranga Reddy Excise Enforcement team detained a man who was supposedly waiting to offer the contraband to potential buyers and seized 2.9 kg of the substance.
In the area of the railway station, an investigation led by Excise Enforcement Circle Inspector Subhash Chander carried out tracking and checks.
Suraj Majai, 23, was reportedly carrying the edibles brought from Odisha during the procedure. Additionally, they seized Inr. 10, 300 dollars from his custody.
According to Circle Inspector Subhash Chander, the accused was given over to the Malkajgiri Excise Station along with the seized illegal and funds for more research and legal action.
Authorities claimed that efforts are being made to track down other individuals connected to the illegal drug trade and find the source of the supply system.
