An entrepreneur shared how a casual conversation with a woman auto driver turned into an unexpectedly inspiring encounter after learning that she had once worked as an IT manager before leaving the profession to pursue a more peaceful life.

The story was shared in a now-viral Instagram video by Dr. Nezrin Midhlaj, who recalled meeting the auto driver and being struck by her calm demeanour and confidence.

In the clip, Midhlaj was seen speaking to the woman while travelling in her auto, asking her what it felt like working in a profession largely dominated by men. Throughout the interaction, the driver appeared relaxed and cheerful, carrying a smile on her face as she spoke candidly about her life and career journey.

According to Midhlaj, the aut0-driver revealed that she had spent nine years working as an IT manager before deciding to walk away from the profession.

“She said she used to be an IT manager for 9 years,” Midhlaj wrote in the caption, explaining that the woman had eventually left behind what she described as pressure, stress, and constant tension associated with the job.

Instead of staying in the corporate world, the woman chose a completely different path and began driving her own auto-rickshaw.

Midhlaj shared that the driver told her she now earns around Rs 60,000 a month and, more importantly, feels genuinely happy with her life.

The interaction left a strong impression on Midhlaj, who reflected on how people often chase status, titles, and conventional ideas of success without pausing to ask what truly makes them feel fulfilled.

“Not every success story looks the same,” she wrote, adding that sometimes choosing peace over prestige could be the bravest decision someone made.

Others shared examples of people they knew who had left traditional jobs to pursue completely different careers, indirectly pointing out that unconventional decisions often led to better peace of mind and even financial stability.

Several users also echoed the sentiment that fulfilment matters more than outside opinions, indirectly suggesting that people should focus less on what society expects and more on what genuinely makes them happy.
