Variant-wise prices of the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno is now out, with the premium hatchback now starting at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Baleno was launched on September 5, when Maruti announced a starting price of Rs 6.10 lakh. The company has now revealed the prices of all variants, with the range topping out at Rs 9.99 lakh.
The 2026 Baleno is available in five variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha and Alpha (O). The petrol engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, while the CNG option is offered with a manual gearbox.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno price
The Sigma is the entry point to the Baleno range and is available exclusively with the petrol-manual powertrain at Rs 5.99 lakh. The Delta variant is priced at Rs 7 lakh with the manual and Rs 7.50 lakh with the AMT. The Delta CNG costs Rs 7.92 lakh.
The Zeta variant costs Rs 8 lakh with the petrol-manual combination, Rs 8.50 lakh with the AMT and Rs 8.92 lakh with CNG. The Alpha is available at Rs 9.10 lakh with the manual and Rs 9.60 lakh with the AMT. The range-topping Alpha (O) costs Rs 9.50 lakh with the manual and Rs 9.99 lakh with the AMT.

The AMT costs Rs 50,000 more than the corresponding petrol-manual variant. The CNG versions of the Delta and Zeta are priced Rs 92,000 higher than their respective petrol-manual variants.
2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno engine and mileage
The facelifted Baleno gets a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It replaces the 1.2-litre four-cylinder K12N engine used in the previous model and is shared with the Swift and Dzire.
The Z12E engine produces 83bhp and 112Nm of torque and is available with a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT. Compared to the outgoing engine, power has dropped by 7bhp and torque by 1Nm of torque. However, Maruti claims an improvement in fuel efficiency, with the manual returning 23.80kmpl and the AMT delivering 24.77kmpl.
The CNG version of the engine produces 70bhp and 102Nm of torque and is available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has a claimed efficiency of 33.61km/kg, which is around 3km/kg higher than the outgoing model.
