Hyderabad’s TGPA Police Academy held its quarterly crime review meeting on Tuesday, August 18th, led by Dr. Tarun Joshi, the upcoming city commissioner of police.
All soldiers from the different wing of the Future City Commissionerate, including Zonal DCPs, ACPs, SHOs, Sub-Inspectors, and members of the ACPs, were present at the meeting.
In acknowledgement of their tireless efforts in the research and powerful detachment of several criminal cases, CP Joshi presented cash benefits to police officials.
He applauded their hard work and dedication in bringing about justice for the consumer.
NDPS assessment of pending situations
The CP reviewed the NDPS Act instances, long-pending cases across all Future City zones, cases reported over the past three years, background sheets, and house offenses registered between 2024 and 2026 during a thorough and strange review of the conference.
The review also included Dial-100 calls, road accident calls, e-Petty calls, CCTV installation status, and hacking cases.
Soldiers were instructed by the Commissioner to closely monitor pending cases, increase the caliber of investigations, make the most of technology, and ensure the implementation of investigations as quickly as possible. He also emphasized the need to raise the bar for convictions, improve protective policing, uphold accurate records, and respond quickly to common complaints and emergency calls.
