A love marriage that began barely three months ago ended in tragedy in Delhi after a 25-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of a building in Mustafabad, with her family accusing her husband and in-laws of harassing her for dowry.
The incident took place on Monday in northeast Delhi. The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital after the fall, but doctors declared her dead.

Police said preliminary inquiry revealed that the woman had married the man of her choice around three months ago. But according to her family, the relationship quickly turned bitter after the wedding.
Her relatives alleged that within a month of the marriage, the husband and his family began demanding gold and cash.
The family claimed the woman had been facing constant mental harassment over the alleged demands and had been living under severe stress in recent weeks.
The death has sent shockwaves through the area, with grieving relatives accusing the husband’s family of pushing the woman to the edge.
A police officer confirmed the incident and said legal action is being initiated.
Further investigation into the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death is underway.
