Social media influencer Anshula Kapoor’s wedding pictures have drawn attention to a moment from the sindoor ceremony, where actors Janhvi and Khushi were seen performing sisterly duties. The image, shared by Anshula on Instagram, is now going viral and shows the two standing beside her as her partner Rohan Thakkar applies sindoor (vermillion).
In the photograph, Khushi is seen holding Anshula’s maang tika (forehead jewellery), while Janhvi holds a sindoor case and a tissue paper.

The moment stands out because Anshula and Arjun Kapoor are the children of producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife, the late Mona Shourie Kapoor, while Janhvi and Khushi are his daughters with the late legendary actor Sridevi. After years of a turbulent relationship, the families became closer after Sridevi’s death.
Anshula and Rohan’s wedding took place at Taj Lands End on Monday in the presence of close friends and family according to Hindu rituals. For the occasion, Anshula wore an embroidered peach and coral lehenga with a shimmering golden-beige dupatta and layered polki jewellery, while Rohan wore a textured champagne-gold sherwani with a silk turban and an emerald brooch.
Sharing the wedding pictures on Instagram, Anshula wrote, “Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And somehow, through every twist, detour, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you (sic).”
The couple got engaged in July 2025. At the time, she wrote, “We started talking on a Tuesday at 1.15 am and ended up talking for hours. Three years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed!”
She had also said the proposal took place at exactly 1.15 am IST, the same time they first spoke, which made it feel “like magic (sic)”. The couple met on a dating app in 2022.
