Bajaj Auto has launched the new-generation Pulsar 125 in India, bringing a substantial update to the brand’s entry-level Pulsar motorcycle. The new Pulsar 125 gets a more powerful engine, updated suspension hardware, a fully digital instrument cluster and additional connected features, while continuing to sit below the Pulsar 150 in the company’s motorcycle range.
The new Pulsar 125 is available in multiple variants, with prices starting at Rs 92,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the single-seat version with an LCD display. The range goes up to Rs 1.04 lakh for the split-seat variant equipped with the TFT display and connected features.

More power from the 125cc engine
The new-generation Pulsar 125 is powered by a 124.58cc engine that produces 12.1bhp at 8,500rpm and 11.4Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. This represents a modest increase over the outgoing Pulsar 125, which uses a 124.38cc engine developing 11.8bhp and 10.8Nm.
The motorcycle continues to use a five-speed gearbox, although the specifications sheet does not provide details of any changes to the transmission.
New digital displays and connected features
One of the biggest changes on the new Pulsar 125 is its instrumentation. The motorcycle is offered with either a 4.8-inch fully digital LCD display or a larger 5-inch TFT unit, depending on the variant.
The TFT-equipped versions get Bluetooth connectivity, while the range-topping variant adds Wi-Fi connectivity, Google Maps integration and screen mirroring. This makes the new Pulsar 125 significantly more tech-focused than the outgoing motorcycle, which uses an analogue-digital instrument cluster.
The motorcycle also gets a USB Type-C port, with the feature being optional on the LCD-equipped version.
Updated suspension and brakes
Bajaj has also revised the Pulsar 125’s chassis hardware. The new motorcycle gets a 31mm telescopic front fork with 125mm of travel, compared with the 30mm unit with 135mm travel on the outgoing model.
At the rear, the new Pulsar 125 switches from twin shock absorbers to a monoshock setup, with 110mm of travel. The outgoing motorcycle uses twin shocks with 102mm of travel.
Braking hardware has also been upgraded, with the front disc growing from 240mm to 260mm. The rear continues to use a 130mm drum brake, while the motorcycle retains a combined braking system (CBS).
LED lighting and additional features
The new Pulsar 125 gets an LED headlamp with a pilot lamp and an LED tail lamp. Depending on the variant, the motorcycle can also be equipped with features such as hazard lights and a belly pan.
The higher variants get a double horn, while the entry-level version uses a single horn. The new motorcycle also uses an electric starter with kick-start support.

The new-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 is available in multiple configurations. Ex-showroom prices in Delhi are as follows:
- Pulsar 125 single seat, LCD: Rs 92,900
- Pulsar 125 split seat, LCD: Rs 94,518
- Pulsar 125 single seat, TFT: Rs 99,291
- Pulsar 125 split seat, TFT: Rs 1,00,288
- Pulsar 125 split seat, TFT + connected features: Rs 1,04,318
The new Pulsar 125 therefore commands a significant premium over the outgoing model, which starts at Rs 81,556 for the single-seat version.
With the new-generation model, Bajaj appears to be positioning the Pulsar 125 as a more feature-rich and premium offering rather than simply an entry-level commuter. The combination of a more powerful engine, monoshock rear suspension, larger front disc and connected TFT instrumentation gives the motorcycle a substantial upgrade over its predecessor.
