Actor Kriti Sanon shared a photo dump on Instagram hours after facing social media criticism over her Raksha Bandhan advertisement for a jewellery brand. The post, which offered glimpses of her recent days, included holiday memories, candid moments, family time, a picture with her sister Nupur Sanon, and a photo with Kabir Bahia, with whom she has been rumoured to be in a relationship.

The timing of the post drew attention as it came amid the backlash over her outfit in the campaign. Sharing a string of photos and videos, Kriti captioned the post, “Some memories captured.. Mannnnyyyyy more Lived (sic)!” Her post appeared to show her carrying on with her usual routine despite the online chatter.
In the advertisement at the centre of the controversy, Kriti is seen celebrating Raksha Bandhan in an ivory bralette-style blouse with a cape-like shrug and a draped skirt. The campaign was intended to present a contemporary take on the festival, but some social media users questioned whether the outfit was appropriate for a traditional festive campaign. One user described her look as “extremely shameful”, while others criticised the brand’s overall concept.
The inclusion of a dog in the advertisement also became a talking point. In the campaign, Kriti is seen attempting to tie a rakhi on the dog after he barks at her, extending the sibling ritual to her pet and presenting him as part of the family. The idea did not go down well with everyone, with some users accusing the brand of making a mockery of an Indian festival, while others questioned the decision to combine a traditional ritual with a more fashion-forward visual treatment.
Kriti has not directly addressed the backlash. However, her latest Instagram post drew interest for the picture with Kabir Bahia, as the two have frequently sparked dating rumours, though neither has publicly confirmed a relationship. For now, Kriti’s post focussed on sharing her memories and moments as the Raksha Bandhan advertisement controversy continues to play in the background.
