Hyderabad: On May 31st, Telangana’s Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the merger of the government and the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation ( TGSRTC ) would follow the results of the recognized trade union’s election.
He stated that interviews with the elected members may be conducted regarding the formation of the formally recognized TGSRTC trade union and that the merger of the RTC with the government may be carried out in due course.
The minister urged employees not to have any fears as a result of any issues or obstacles being overcome during the consolidation process.
He assured RTC staff that any problems would be resolved, and he also urged them to remove any myths.
The secretary reported that discussions were held involving five ministries, senior officers, and 40 RTC representatives under the direction of the Deputy Chief Minister, which led to the approval of an 11 per cent give change for employees.
Minister Ponnam Prabhakar inspected the proposed page for the bus station at the Peddapalli area office in a group headed by Minister for IT, Industries, and Congressional Affairs Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Government Whip Vijaya Ramana Rao.
The RTC vehicle station building was being accelerated, according to the Transport Minister.
According to Ponnam Prabhakar, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had approved the RTC bus station for Peddapalli in response to requests from senior Minister Sridhar Babu and government whip Vijaya Ramana Rao.
He noted that steps had been taken to expedite the project and ensure its first opening, despite the fact that some delays had occurred.
He added that after the execution of the free bus travel program for women, significant improvements were being made to improve vehicle connection in rural areas.
The Transport Minister stated that the government was working to increase the RTC’s presence within the public transportation system and that the procurement process was in progress to meet people demand.
